     The Manx is back from the 60’s with a twist of modern technology.  It follows in the footsteps of the original Manx, designed by the originator of the beach buggy, Bruce Meyers.

The New Manxter 2+2 “R” model features room for four, a new state of the art safety structure, sport bucket seats, racing style steering wheel, the classic body lines of the original Manx along with those adorable bubble headlights. It’s a shot of nostalgia as you drive down Pacific Coast Highway to your favorite surf spot or burger joint. Want to drive right down on the beach or run down some off road trails? This versatile model can be equipped with optional nerf racks, roof rack with lights, BFG all terrain tires, and skid plates to help in those adventures you may want to take.

With the Manxter “R”, the fun doesn’t have to end where the road does.

Each Manxter is hand built with the highest degree of specifications with attention to the most important part……The Details!  Using all new high quality components on a completely remanufactured frame, we’ve taken all the guess work out of having this little piece 
of history in your driveway by doing all the research and development for you.

These cars come from us ready to drive with an all new 1600cc engine, a correctly geared transmission with close ratio 3rd and 4th gears. All cars produced here at Mendeola receive an all new brake and fuel delivery system, have been run through a full testing program including being run on our in-house dynamometer to test engine and transmission performance and a 100 point check list completed before delivery.

We finish every Manxter “R” off with our chrome package that includes nostalgic chrome steel wheels and complete chrome engine package. The Manxter “R” is available in a wide range of body colors including small to large flake metallic finishes to suit any style you may be dreaming about, also the roll cage, engine, and bumpers can be powder coated to add just the right accent. That’s not enough? You can add a custom gauge package or canvas top to
personalize the car even more.

Transmission: Custom geared unit featuring all new bearings, syncros, and seals with a HD side cover
Suspension: KYB GR2 gas shocks and torsion spring standard ride height
Interior: Corbeau sport seats, sport steering wheel, Volkswagen uni-gauge
